Swing Vote is an upcoming 2008 comedy directed by Joshua Michael Stern and starring Kevin Costner. It should be released in early August 2008.

In the current period of elections in the USA this film may have an impact beyond its simplistic plot. Because the tagline of Swing vote, a comical look at the journey of one father and daughter who discover that everyone has the power to change the world, sounds quite right.

The plot:
"Swing Vote follows the story of Bud Johnson (Kevin Costner), an apathetic, beer-slinging, lovable loser, who is coasting through a life that has passed him by.
